Your organisation might enable this in the security settings of your ArcGIS Online or ArcGIS Enterprise and can block access to Connect for ArcGIS.

 

Members can only sign in to external apps that are approved. If your organization limits the external apps that can be accessed, you must include Connect for ArcGIS to the list of approved apps.

Your ArcGIS Online administrator can confirm the setting by going to Organization -> Settings -> Security -> Apps. It is likely that they will see that the “*Members can only sign in to external apps that are approved*” setting is enabled.

 

Add Connect for ArcGIS to the Approved apps list.

1. Click “**Add approved app**“
2. Enter the Connect for ArcGIS Client ID: `bTTQ87sU3RCXvDrs`
3. Wait for the name “** Connect for ArcGIS**” to appear. Select it.
4. Click **Save**

You should now be able to sign in to Connect for ArcGIS.
