[Connect for ArcGIS API documentation](https://help.cartinuum.com/space/GC1/4538957826/Connect+for+ArcGIS+API+documentation) is now available for easier integration. View the documentation for endpoint details and examples. - Updated npm dependencies to remediate known vulnerabilities and strengthen overall security. - Users must download the latest Connect for ArcGIS Relay Service from the Admin Portal and reinstall it to apply the update. - Users can reorder the layers list in the Connect for ArcGIS widget through its properties. ### 11 June 2026 - Managed Experience Builder for ArcGIS upgraded to version 1.20 - Added configurable hover styling for result highlights on map. When users hover over a result, the corresponding feature is highlighted on the map, and the hover effect can now be customized by adjusting the fill, outline, transparency, and outline weight. - The active ArcGIS portal now appears at login, and the portal URL is saved in the Change Portal URL list after login. ### 18 May 2026 - Upgraded Hosted Experience Builder to version 1.19 - Known issue: - In Experience Builder version 1.19, the previous “Shared with me” and “Owned by me” options have been replaced by “My content,” “My organization,” and “My groups.” However, there is a defect where the “My organization” and “My groups” tabs are missing in Experience Builder Developer Edition. - Impact: users who need to edit applications they do not own, as they are unable to locate them through the interface. - Workaround: users can request the app owner to share the direct app URL, or manually access the app by constructing the URL using the format `https://app.cartinuum.com/container/au/exb-[your-hostedexbID]/builder/?appId=[Your-App-ID]` if the App ID is known. - Widget theming enhancements - Added compatibility with the Enhanced Theme system introduced in Experience Builder v1.19+ - Improved and standardized theme behavior for Experience Builder versions earlier than v1.18 - Widget properties now support inline rename and drag-and-drop reordering for Workflows, Searches, and Reports. ### 12 May 2026 - Added support for using the Connect for ArcGIS widget in a multi-page experience app. - Limitation: Connect for ArcGIS works with only one map per experience app. - Fixed an issue where the Connect for ArcGIS widget crashes when the application if any ArcGIS feature layer service is broken or unavailable. Users can now access the widget properties to remove the broken layer before testing the widget in live mode or publishing the app. - Fixed an issue that made Connect for ArcGIS unusable when users interacted while the data source was unavailable. - Fixed an issue where search results exceeding 300 records now display maximum 300 returned results. Previously, the system blocked this and showed the message “No results displayed.” ### 30 April 2026 Hosted Experience Builder version 1.19 release has been rolled back. We identified an issue that could cause intermittent hosted experience builder access failures. As a precaution, we reverted to v1.18. No user data was affected. A fix is in progress and will be released in an upcoming version. ### 29 April 2026 - Upgraded Hosted Experience Builder to version 1.19 - Widget theming enhancements - Added compatibility with the Enhanced Theme system introduced in Experience Builder v1.19+ - Improved and standardized theme behavior for Experience Builder versions earlier than v1.18 - Widget properties now support inline rename and drag-and-drop reordering for Workflows, Searches, and Reports. - Updated npm dependencies to remediate known vulnerabilities and strengthen overall security. - Fixed a malformed search query in Connect for ArcGIS when using the Council Wise data source ### 16 April 2026 - Fixed an issue where an error appeared while the Arcade editor was loading, improving reliability when working with Arcade expressions. - Fixed an issue where layer links containing complex SQL constructs (e.g., `ORDER BY`, `DECLARE`, CTEs) could trigger an unexpected error and ensured a single failing layer link no longer causes the entire widget to crash. ### 9 April 2026 - Workflow input fields now support multiple input data types. - Added validation using test data for Workflow. - Fixed validation/save errors for workflows without input fields. - Refined the hover behavior to activate only when hovering over the record and deactivate when the cursor leaves its bounds - Improved the interface flow when a user generates a report for a selected feature and moves to the next feature. The report menu now closes automatically, allowing the user to make the next selection. - Fixed Connect for ArcGIS backward compatibility with ArcGIS Enterprise version 11.3 and below to prevent crashes when users run Infor Pathway workflows. ### 26 February 2026 - Connect for ArcGIS technical changes update - Connect for ArcGIS now uses a new domain! - New update for Connect Relay Service - New update for Connect for ArcGIS widget - removed Geovonic branding. ### 22 January 2026 - Fixed issues with arcade expression formatting. The hidden attribute function in the attribute list no longer affects arcade expressions in Connect for ArcGIS. ### 14 January 2026 - UI updated with new Cartinuum Connect for ArcGIS branding. - We say goodbye to Geovonic and hello to [Cartinuum](https://cartinuum.com). ## Earlier release
Releases in 2025 ### 31 December 2025 - New! Support for Arcade Expressions for rich styling of retrieved data. ### 16 December 2026 - App launchers have been renamed to Workflows to better reflect the capabilities of these integrated workflows. - Added option to validate Workflows before saving. - Known issue: Validate works only with workflows that do not require input data from systems. Using validate with workflows needing test data causes an error. - Workaround: workflows requiring system input data can be saved without validation. If a user encounters the error, restart with new workflows and save without validating. ### 13 November 2025 - Added multi-lingual support for the Connect for ArcGIS widget. Now supports English, French and Spanish. - Hosted Experience Builder version upgrade to 1.18 ### 30 October 2025 - Updated npm package dependencies to address known vulnerabilities and enhance overall security. - Search input fields now support additional data types and optional parameters. ### 23 Sept 2025 - Added support for including non-linked layers in the layer list of Geovonic Connect widget. - Added support for including “Civica Authority Generic” data source for Searches - Hosted Experience Builder overall flow improvement - OData Query data source’s test data validation flow improvements ### 8 Sept 2025 - Fixed an issue where the Help panel is not displaying content. - Fixed an issue where unable to create Feature Layer Enrichment of a layer added from external source. - New! Data source for ServiceNow - Added Demo app and pre-configured data source, layer link, launcher, report and searches to help trial or new users get started quickly. - Upgraded the Hosted Experience Builder version to 1.17 - Added new Message Action to interact with other Experience Builder widgets to “Display result” for Query widget, and “Highlight result” to Query, Near me, Table and Feature Info.
