**Release Notes – Web AppBuilder Migrate**

**ArcGIS Enterprise 12.0+ no longer includes Web AppBuilder**, these migration improvements apply only to ArcGIS Online environments

**What’s New**

1. **Expanded Support for the Latest Experience Builder Versions**

Several existing migrated widgets have been upgraded, so they now match the functionality available in Experience Builder 1.18 and 1.19. This includes:

- **Directions widget:** Added “Preset Stops” and “Barrier Layers”. Limitation for Print functionality is not supported as this is handled separately by Print widget.
- **Draw widget: **Added** **support for **“Freehand” **option.
- **Scalebar: **Added support for additional “Style and Unit Settings in Map widget
- **Measurement widget**: Can now be migrated as a stand-alone widget, previously was as a tool under Map widget.

---

2. **Bug Fixes**

- Addressed mismatches where certain migrated Web AppBuilder widgets previously lacked equivalent capabilities available in Experience Builder 1.18 or 1.19.

·         Resolved mismatches where Web AppBuilder widgets didn’t fully map to their Experience Builder equivalents.

- Batch Attribute Editor
- Bookmark widget
- Legend
- Info Summary
- Geoprocessing
- Situational Awareness

3. **Known Limitations**

While many widgets now achieve feature parity with Experience Builder, there are still limitations to be aware of:

- **No direct one‑to‑one widget match in some cases**: Certain Web AppBuilder widgets do not have a structurally or functionally equivalent Experience Builder widget. Even if Experience Builder offers a similarly named or related widget, the underlying functionality, or configuration model, may differ significantly.
- **Not migratable through automation**: Because of these mismatches, some widgets cannot be programmatically migrated. These require **manual recreation** in Experience Builder to ensure intended behavior.
- **Functional gaps may remain**: Some Experience Builder widgets may not yet support features that existed in their Web AppBuilder counterparts or use different approaches, preventing full migration or not migratable at all.
- **The following widgets remain not migratable in Web AppBuilder Migrate:**
  - Geolookup
  - Network Trace
  - Oblique Viewer
  - Report Feature
