Managed Experience Builder allows subscription owners to generate a shareable management link that can be used by other authorised users.

This allows team members, consultants, and administrators to access the Managed Experience Builder management console without requiring access to the subscriber's Cartinuum account.

### Overview

By default, only the subscription owner can access the Managed Experience Builder management console through the Cartinuum Extensions portal.

To allow others to manage the environment, a **shareable link** can be generated.

The shareable link provides access to:

- Start builder sessions
- Stop builder sessions
- Launch Experience Builder
- Deploy applications
- Delete deployed applications

The shareable link does **not** provide access to:

- Portal registration
- Custom domain configuration
- Account settings
- Subscription settings
- Billing information

### Creating a Shareable Link

Navigate to the My Extensions page and expand your Managed Experience Builder subscription.

Locate the **Shareable link** section.

If no shareable link currently exists, select the **Generate link 🔗** button.

A unique URL will be generated.

Example:

`https://extensions.cartinuum.com/apps?sharing_key=GQ2jk8TrY`

The generated URL contains a secret access key that grants access to the management console.

### Sharing the Link

Copy the generated link and provide it only to authorised users.

Anyone with access to the link can manage the Managed Experience Builder environment.

Treat the link as you would a password. You can cancel or rotate the link at any time (see later).

### Using a Shareable Link

When a user opens the shareable link, they are taken directly to the Managed Experience Builder management console.

Users can:

- Start and stop builder sessions
- Launch Experience Builder
- Deploy applications

The shareable link does not provide access to the subscriber's Cartinuum account or subscription management features.

### Rotating a Shareable Link

If you believe the link has been shared too broadly or may have been exposed, you can generate a new link.

Select the **Rotate Link 🔄** button.

A new shareable link will be created and the previous link will immediately stop working.

Any users using the previous link will need to be provided with the new URL.

### Removing a Shareable Link

To disable shared access completely, select **Remove Link** ⛓️‍💥.

The shareable link will be invalidated immediately.

Users attempting to use the previous link will no longer be able to access the management console.

### Security Considerations

Shareable links provide operational access to your Managed Experience Builder environment.

Anyone with access to the link can:

- Start builder sessions
- Stop builder sessions
- Launch Experience Builder
- Deploy applications
- Delete deployed applications

For this reason:

- Only share links with trusted users.
- Rotate links if access requirements change.
- Remove links that are no longer required.
